I took this cap at 38:22 of 4x12. Lafayette is right upstairs in one of Sookie’s guest rooms, lamenting over Jesus’s death.

I took this at 55:56, right before Tara gets shot, and she’s wearing the same exact outfit, because it’s still the same night.

Where the fuck is Lafayette while all this shit’s goin’ down? He better be on his way downstairs, unless he’s a really fucking heavy sleeper. Two gunshots and Sookie screaming “SOMEBODY HELP!” at the top of her lungs mid-sob?

He was upstairs. And I don’t doubt that he woke up and was on his way down. The events downstairs didn’t take that long. Under a minute, actually. And if Lafayette took a sleeping pill or something — not a stretch, considering all he’s been through — then it would take him a while to become cognisant enough to run downstairs. 

And we know he has pretty ‘nice’ medications and probably took ‘a bit’.
