I love him so much in these scenes. These are the scenes that really made me adore him.
Oh, yes. These are the moments that we see how he watches and takes in what’s happening. He studies, evaluates, and adapts. He’s not impetuous or careless. We get insight into who he is and how he’s survived for so long. And, I might add, it’s sexy as hell! :)
Yes — and I love what a conflict it is for him to balance what he wants — first Bill, and then revenge against the way he feels about Sookie. He does what he can, here, to protect her, by making her seem too valuable to waste. He knows he’s outmanned in Russell’s house, and he knows how careful he has to be. He’s so compelling here, saying nothing, and just taking it all in.
